Sheila was a teacher in Hertfordshire for many years but after retirement took up watercolour painting, very quickly becoming absorbed in flower studies and detailed work.  Sheila moved to North Wales quite recently and has continued to extend her interest in botanical painting which now includes gouache and coloured pencil as well as watercolour.
