The Society already holds exhibitions at regular intervals throughout the North Wales area and would also welcome enquiries from interested galleries further afield, who should use the Contact page on this website.
2020 Annual Exhibition
The Williamson Gallery, Saltey Road, Birkenhead, CH43 4UE
Saturday 8th Feb – March 15th
The Society’s 2020 exhibition is to be held this year at the prestigious Williamson Gallery on the Wirral.
A preview will be held on the 8th of February between 12pm and 2pm where visitors will have the opportunity to meet the artists. Wine and canapés supplied.
A variety of subject matter and mediums, including sculpture, will be exhibited. Examples of some works on display are shown below.
Annual Society Awards
Member Awards
The Society holds an annual exhibition of members’ work. In 2016, the exhibition was held at The Ucheldre Centre in Holyhead on Anglesey. The categories for awards are as follows:
- Society Awards – General
- Society Awards – Botanical
- Highly Commended – General
- Highly Commended – Botanical
In addition, two awards are made to the most popular works as chosen by the members and visitors to the exhibition. The Society Patron, Edmond Douglas-Pennant, donates a prize to these winners.
2017 Exhibition at Oriel Ynys Môn
The North Wales Society of Fine Art
The Society’s 2017 Exhibition is on at Oriel Ynys Môn on Anglesey
from Saturday 10th June to Sunday 23rd July
There are 28 artists exhibiting, and 122 works on display.
A wide range of subject matter is explored, including botanical, landscape, portraiture, still-life and wildlife.
There are works in oil, watercolour, pencil, pastel, textile and sculpture.
In addition, a selection of prints and greetings cards by the exhibiting artists is available.
