Since 1990 membership of the North Wales Society of Fine Art has increased to include not only artists from North Wales but also from the North-West of England.  Membership of the Society is by selection, the criterion being the quality of the artists' work in its artistic conception and technique
.
Applicants for membership are required to provide five examples of their work for the Society  committee to view for consideration before an invitation can be made to join the Society.

There is an annual fee of £20.  

Non-painting members are invited to join as Friends of the Society.
